About Course
Lagoon Watersports offers a range of unforgettable sailing experiences from Brighton Marina. Choose from a Half Day Cruise, a two‑hour sailing adventure, or a Sunset Cruise — each designed to provide a memorable journey aboard our yacht.
Out on the open water, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Brighton’s skyline and the Sussex coastline, including landmarks such as the Brighton Palace Pier and Brighton’s West Pier, and if you look East the stunning chalk coastal cliffs. Guests are welcome to sit back and relax or take a more active role by hoisting the sails or taking the helm, all under the guidance of our experienced skippers.
Weather permitting, you may even enjoy a refreshing swim, and keep an eye out for dolphins along the way. This is a truly restorative experience — a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and the joy of sailing.

Any other questions
No, beginners can start with RYA Competent Crew or our Learn to Sail package, which is designed for those with no previous sailing experience.
We generally recommend not taking part in our activities if you’re pregnant, as being on the water can involve movement and conditions that aren’t always predictable.
If you do feel comfortable taking part, we usually suggest no later than around 21 weeks, but this is very much a personal decision. Everyone’s pregnancy is different, so please go with what feels right for you and consider speaking to your healthcare professional if you’re unsure.
If you let our team know in advance, we’re always happy to have a chat and help you decide what’s best for you.
